October 21st, 2015, New York City’s own Irving Plaza was the last stop for Gates, Chon, and The Dear Hunter, who were supporting their new release, Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise. Opening the show was Gates, a post-rock band that has been rising in popularity since releasing Bloom & Breathe in 2014. It’s awesome seeing these guys progress in their career, and they must be doing something right if both Chon and The Dear Hunter can manage to applaud them in between songs. Following Gates was Chon, and honestly, they don’t need much of an introduction. Everyone and their mothers know who Chon are, and for good reason. Chon is another band who have risen in popularity very rapidly over the last couple years, and rightfully so. Lastly, The Dear Hunter closed out the show and tour with quite a theatrical bang. Whether you’ve never seen them before or you’ve seen them loads of times, there’s no denying that The Dear Hunter are good at what they do, and we hope they don’t stop anytime soon. Enjoy the pictures below!
