It seems as though it were only yesterday that Psycroptic were on tour. They recently finished up yet another lengthy trek, this time bringing with them blackened thrash titans, Goatwhore. Reeling with excitement, due to having recently bought a new camera, I missed Ouroboros, but thankfully arrived in time for my favourite local band all of time—Disentomb. Their unmatched ferocity is always refreshing to witness, even more so at an intimate venue like Crowbar. Having never seen Goatwhore previously, I was so surprised to see a band with such an engaging perspective on crowd interaction. This also made them extremely fun to photograph, though, not quite as much as Psycroptic. They’re easily some of the most hardworking musicians I know and it’s always a pleasure to catch up with them when they’re in town. Big thanks to Dave Haley for letting me take photos yet again.
