If you read my review of the new Beardfish record, you’ll know that it was super fun to jam and that it’s chock full of cool songs. It’s always interesting to get a glimpse into the mind of progressive artists and learn a bit about how they view their own complex themes and music. Luckily, the band chose to release a lyric video for one of the better songs on the album, giving you not only that much needed glimpse but also a chance to revisit this excellent track. It’s a pretty straightforward lyric video, but definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the band. If you haven’t heard the album yet, I highly recommend you do so, because I think it’s one you’ll enjoy if you like some of that old-school progressive rock that is not afraid to wear its influences on its sleeve.
