Almost as if they had not already been jettisoned into favor and acclaim among the online metal community practically overnight when Pallbearer launched their debut album Sorrow & Extinction in 2012, the band were propelled into the upper echelons of doom metal with an amazing year in 2014 with the release of their sophomore album Foundations of Burden.
Even after all that creative output and time and energy spend on the road in support of the record, the band were far from tapped-out of ideas in the months following release. While between tours last Fall, the group managed to squeeze in enough time to record a standalone track titled ‘Fear and Fury.’ Decibel Magazine (who have been very kind to the band, giving them their top spot on their best releases of 2014 list) was then given the track as an exclusive, to be released with the magazine’s April 2015 issue as an installment to their collectable Flexi Disc series.
Fortunately, the track isn’t destined lost forever buried in the pages of Decibel, far and away from the hungry ears of non-subscribers; as always, the mag has graciously made the track available for public consumption as a digital stream, which you can hear after the jump.

Do yourself a favor and just grab a year’s subscription while you’re there.
The band will be on road throughout much of 2015, and they’re already booked pretty solid up until June/July. Get dates below:
