Now that people are back from their holiday vacations and get back into the swing of things, you’ll begin to see an explosion of news that fills out the 2015 release schedule. We’ve already began accumulating a list of albums we’re excited for this year, and we’re mentally adding new ones by the day. The latest band to raise spirits for the year in music is instrumental outfit Scale The Summit, who have began work on their fifth full-length album.
There are not a lot of details available yet. As far as we can tell, there have been no producers attached to the project, and the group’s latest Facebook updates included the above photo and the statement, “Recording for Scale the Summit album #5 starts this Wednesday for the next two months!” Could the group be self-producing this time around?
Scale The Summit’s label Prosthetic Records slates a Summer release window for the record. Keep an eye out on the band’s Facebook page for updates as they come in. In the meantime, revisit the group’s latest effort in 2013’s The Migration, below.
