Lacuna Coil need little introduction; the Italian act has been leading the goth metal scene for over ten years, with numerous releases to their name. Their latest album, Broken Crown Halo was released late last month to commercial success, despite playing it very safe. It’s also the last album to feature founding members Cristiano “Pizza” Migliore (guitars) and Cristiano ‘CriZ’ Mozzati (drums). All that being said, and long track record considered, it’s interesting to see what direction they’ll go with next.

To properly launch this new step in their career, Lacuna Coil have released a music video for their track ‘I Forgive (But I Won’t Forget Your Name)’. It features a pretty dramatic game of chess plus the band doing what they know best: quality Italian goth metal. Metal Hammer premiered the video, but head on over there to grab tour dates. We’re told their shows are not to be trifled with.
