February 4th, 2016, Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn was the host of an album release show for a special Long Island band. Opening the show was Godmaker, and they kicked off the show with a loud, bone crushing set. It is highly recommended that you keep an eye out for Godmaker, as they bring a fresh new twist on sludgy music. Following was Meek Is Murder. Meek Is Murder always kill it during their set and are always on point with their chaotic style. Definitely a must see. After Meek Is Murder was Netherlands. Netherlands were the odd band out on this lineup. They were a bit too experimental and zany, almost like an acid trip gone wrong (or maybe right in some peoples’ eyes). Concluding the night and celebrating their debut album was Moon Tooth. Moon Tooth have blown the hell up in the last few years, and man, do they deserve it. Chromaparagon is such a successful album and there’s a reason why they’re so critically acclaimed by major sites like Metal Injection, having the privilege of having their album streamed on Guitar World, etc. Do yourself a favor and support this band, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy the pictures below!
