Mathcore’s back baby! The year that saw stunning new releases from Car Bomb and The Number Twelve Looks Like You is also getting a new release from up-and-coming project The Sound That Ends Creation.

If you’ve been paying attention, we’ve covered the Texas one-man mathgrind band from musician Chris Dearing several times in the past, and each time around we’re increasingly excited about the progression Dearing brings to the table with each release.  Music Designed To Give You Ideas… Incase You Should Run Out Of Ideas, the fourth record in as many years, sees a big step up from last year’s Roses and Thorns and Dead Unicorns, and brings to the table whacky avant garde nuances, including prominent use of piano synths slamming into slides and panic chords beneath the guitars.

Such is the case with the new single “Pulling 562 Teeth All At Once” If you were to take a Psyopus and an iwrestledabearonce track and played them both simultaneously, you’re approaching the kind of unchained madness that Dearing is putting to disc. Give the minute-and-a-half barnburner a stream via the Bandcamp player below and see for yourself.

Music Designed To Give You Ideas… will see a release through Bandcamp November 22nd, and promises to be The Sound’s biggest and best release yet. Spoilers: we’ve heard the whole thing and it’s simply nuts. Don’t miss out; consider picking up the band’s first-ever vinyl release if you like what you hear.
