I’m going to be completely honest in saying that before today I had never even heard of LAE. Maybe it’s just me being out of the loop, or perhaps it’s out of accidental ignorance, but at any rate, I’ve begun listening to their music today, and it’s pretty solid stuff. It’s very downtuned, heavy rock, and has a sludge vibe to it, which fit vocalist Steve Austin‘s unique pipes well. Earlier this month they recorded their first show as a band, and you can watch a song from the performance below!
The song is definitely an indication of how their music sounds as a whole. While not the most groundbreaking or intense track, there are some cool things going on. The band will hopefully have some new music headed our way soon, because it would be pretty interesting to see where they can really take their sound and carve it into their own style.
