Are you ready for another serving of searing and brain-liquefying brutal death metal from none other than Kansas natives Origin?

Well, it doesn’t matter because it’s happening anyway. According to long-time drummer John Longstreth, who took to his Facebook page late yesterday, the band are set and ready to record Omnipresent, the follow up to 2011’s utterly brilliant Entity, alongside new vocalist Jason Keyser, whom you may remember from Skinless. You can see the full announcement embedded below:

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

Post by Origin.

So, now a four piece, it’s possible that Origin’s sound could be even bigger? Terrifying. Either way, I’m excited to hear what Omnipresent has in store, so you’ll definitely hear about it here when news drops.
