South Florida’s music scene is sub-par. Save for Solus, Every Passing Dream, The Dead Legs and Gunfight, there aren’t that many bands from my home that intrigue me. However, The Thieving Hand are a new group that have caught my attention. The play a really fun blend of post-hardcore, a la letlive. mixed with some Fall Of Troy and Touché Amoré. It’s really catchy stuff! Listen below!

Guitarist Collin Barndt had this to say about the band, as well as their upcoming studio album, which should see the light of day January 2014:
“We recently released a song titled “Separating Soil from the Sky.” It’s one of our more aggressive songs on the record, and was recorded live without a metronome to achieve an organic tone.
