With the release of Aussie prog guitarist Plini‘s new EP Sweet Nothings, I saw a commenter on Facebook claim that “all other bedroom projects are now obsolete.” After hearing the release, I’m almost inclined to agree.
Of course, we’ve got plenty of one-man bands worth caring about — Piotrek Gruzka, who lends a guest solo on the track ‘Opening‘, being one of them — but between Plini’s past two releases so far this year, he’s gone to the top of my list. His beautifully melodic blend of electronic, jazz fusion, and prog rock is simply amazing. You can check out the new Sweet Nothings EP below:

Not only is the music great, but that artwork is phenomenal. You can thank our pal Alex Pryle for that, who has also done work for us on our background! Small world!
Sweet Nothings is available on Bandcamp for $3 AUS, which is roughly $2.83 USD. Worth it.
