Fact: the best song on Periphery II is ‘Ragnarok.’ Any other opinion is invalid.

Another fact: When a video is hyped up as being a live video, there’s an assumption that the audio was recorded live as well. I was looking forward to hearing a pro-shot video with stems recorded from the mixing board, but no such luck. Sure, it’s just a performance video with liberal use of GoPros, but I’m not complaining. I’ve yet to see the band live, and this new video — directed by guitarist Mark Holcomb’s brother Jeff Holcomb  during this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour — seems to capture the spirit of a Periphery show enough for me to feel like I missed out. Check it:
