Don’t misunderstand me here; I absolutely love Nine Inch Nails and the surprise announcement of their new album Hesitation Marks got me all sorts of excited. I even enjoyed the new single ‘Came Back Haunted,’ even if it does play it a little safe. However, the new video for the track (directed by David Lynch) seems a little amateurish, like an art school project that’s supposed to be “deep.” Maybe I don’t get it. Maybe it IS too deep for me. Either way, the internet seems to be in agreement on this. It’s kinda weird and not too good. Check it out below:
Hesitation Marks will be out September 3rd on Columbia Records. Regardless of the promo videos, it’ll probably still be pretty great.
