Death metal bands are a dime a dozen so it’s always good to find one that really catches your ear and while I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what it is that makes Greece’s Murder Made God so enticing, but the two songs that they’ve released in support of their upcoming album Irreverence seem to push all the right brutal buttons.
Flourishes of Decapitated, Dying Fetus and Suffocation all meet here to create tracks that concerned both with brutal blasting and grooving mid-paced stomps. One listen to both ‘Endless Void Of Human Hunger‘ above and ‘One Thousand Tongues‘ below should give away what Murder Made God are all about and if they can continue this streak throughout their new album, then it should definitely be worth a go. If nothing else, make sure you try and listen all the through to catch those tasty grooves that band latch onto in the latter halves of the tracks because, for lack of a better term, they absolutely slay.
Irreverence will wreck your face on June 25th through Brutal Bands.
