SHINING Announce One One One North American Release Via Prosthetic Records; Pre-orders Available

I was doing a bit of moaning last week when I found out that Norwegian avant-garde metallers SHINING are releasing their new album One One One this week in their native land and nowhere else. I had assumed the band were working on international distribution deals, and I was right. Prosthetic Records have announced that they will be releasing One One One digitally on April 23rd, with physical formats due out in late May/early June.

Pre-orders for One One One are available right now at this location, including various formats and bundles with a couple of shirt designs. Some of you man be aware that a couple of us (me included) are vinyl collectors, so I jumped on the record pretty quickly; the LP is limited to 500 copies, with the orange color limited to 100. If you’re a massive fan and want a rare record, there are at least 99 of those left. Go order your copy now!

In the mean time, SHINING are still debuting new songs daily at P3.no’s Pyro, with today’s song ‘Off The Hook’ streaming now. It’s admittedly their most pop-oriented song yet, but since it’s inspired directly from Nine Inch Nails, it’s still top-notch and filled with catchy industrial abrasion.
