Sigur Rós are one of my favorite post-rock bands, and Valtari, released last year, was one of my favorite post-rock releases from 2012. However, a little over a year after being released, the band are already set to release ANOTHER new album, titled Kveikur. Yes please.
They have also uploaded a new single to YouTube for your listening and viewing pleasure. The video itself is simply beautiful and goes very well with the music. They seem to be taking a slightly different direction with this album, and I’m completely okay with it. You can preorder the new record here and follow them on facebook in the meantime.
