After a rocky end to last year’s almost-reformation and tribute to the legendary Death that left the tour in a bit of controversy (to say the least), the much talked about Sweet Relief benefit Death to All tour will once again be making the trek across North America this April. More cities will be visited, making this year’s first iteration of Death To All (dubbed DTA1) much more accessible!
What makes this DTA tour interesting is that instead of featuring a revolving door of musicians that have graced Death’s discography, just the lineup from Human — my personal favorite Death record — will be making the rounds this April. Guitarist Paul Masvidal, bassist Steve DiGiorgio, drummer Sean Reinert, and special guest vocalist/guitarist Max Phelps of Cynic will be playing the bulk of that record and select others from the first four records.
