Hope For The Dying

A couple of us got real excited for Hope For The Dying‘s debut album Dissimulation a couple of years ago for the band’s progressive metalcore sound that could easily sit among the ears of fans of Between the Buried and Me and The Human Abstract. Hope For The Dying incorporate more symphonic elements, which made them stand out a bit, especially as a Christian band on a label that’s more or less filled with super preachy and generic hardcore influenced acts. Hope For The Dying don’t suffer these pitfalls though, and chances are, if you’re reading this site regularly to begin with, then this band worth checking out.

The band’s second album Aletheia (a Greek word meaning “disclosure” or “truth”) is due out March 19th on Facedown Records, and the first taste of the album has just been made available in the form of a lyric video for the new single ‘In Isolation.’ You can listen to the track below:
