If every band was as promising as The Armed, then the future of mathcore bodes well. These guys are nuts and have shown that The Dillinger Escape Plan aren’t the only ones who know how to play complicated music while thrashing like maniacs. The insane moshability of their songs is reflected in the music through feedback around every corner, and bouts of distortion. It’s like you can almost hear the pain the instruments are going through. Not to mention the track features former Dillinger drummer and rhythm guitarists Chris Pennie and Jake Tuttle respectively.

Their new video for their track ‘No Rest Until Ruin‘ (which you can view above) off the upcoming EP Spreading Joy is fantastic.  Frantic and cuts right to the chase. An extremely well executed performance video with no emphasis on the performance, but instead the video crew opted to display the entire experience.  They made it easy to feel like you’re front row, being thrown around and screaming along with the vocalist. So if this is your thing, check it out because it’s a hell of a ride.
