Unconscious Disturbance have the makings of a new obsession for Heavy Blog. The Brooklyn-based progressive metal group pulls from their strong Brazilian heritage to create a richly psychedelic experience akin to the likes of Cynic, Intronaut, and Hypno5e. The band is set to release their first full-length album Mind’s Corner next month, and they’re slowly picking up steam. The group premiered two songs from the record with AOL’s Noisecreep last week and a hypnotic new video earlier this month, which you can view below:

Now the group has began rolling out studio videos from the recording sessions, and we’ve got the drum report shot at Engine Room Audio in NYC. What makes the band’s ethnic influence so strong is the music’s naturally driving groove that shines through much of the drum performance, which you can see being tracked below:

Unconscious Disturbance’s Mind’s Corner will be self-released December 4th. Be sure to visit them on Facebook for more information.
