Prog/Post-metallers Intronaut have been teasing us about a new album for a little while, and today we’ve gotten a confirmation that their new studio album — titled Habitual Levitations (Instilling Words With Tones) — will be released next March! From the press release:

November 15, 2012 (Los Angeles, CA) — Post-metal prog act INRONAUT will release their highly-anticipated new album, HABITUAL LEVITATIONS (INSTILLING WORDS WITH TONES) in North America on March 19, 2012 via Century Media Records.

Drums were recorded by producer John Haddad [Exhumed, Phobia] and Derek Donley [Bereft] handled recording for all other elements on the record.  It was mixed by Josh Newell and artwork and layout will be done by David D’Andrea who has worked with the band on previous albums.

You can check out a clip of the band rehearsing a new song from the record below:

The release of this album lines up with their rumored tour with Meshuggah and Animals as Leaders, so now everything’s seeming a bit more likely on that front. We’ll pass on the good word whenever it comes in!
