Early this week, our friends in Canadian instrumental progressive metal group Intervals have unveiled more details of their new EP In Time. A teaser of the new music has been made available, which you can check out below:

So far, In Time seems like a good mix of heavier tech metal sounds and smoother jazz inspired bouts of guitar virtuosity. Naturally, the EP is going to be a must-listen for fans of the genre. Intervals have been going places lately, even being picked up as support for The Contortionist‘s regional tour in Canada. Here are the dates for that trek:

25/10/12 – London, Ontario – London Music Hall
26/10/12 – Toronto, Ontario – Sneaky Dees
29/10/12 – Montreal, Quebec – Underworld
30/10/12 – Ottawa, Ontario – Mavericks
01/11/12 – St. Catharines, Ontario – Coco Cabana

Pre-orders for In Time are also available at this location. Intervals are incredibly talented and nice dudes, and they’re starting to take off independently. Support them if you dig the music! In Time is out October 30th.
