I’m unbelievably excited for the new Kvelertak record. It’s not often that I’m in to straightforward party-inducing headbangers, but the whole blackened rock n’ roll/hardcore sound too infectious to ignore. Norway’s rising stars recorded their sophomore album with Converge’s Kurt Ballou at his very own God City Records. The second in a series of studio videos of the process is now available below, wherein the band tracks guitars:

The whole thing sounds just as killer as their self titled debut, with plenty of riffs to go around. There’s no reason why this record shouldn’t be killer. More info should be available in the coming weeks, and the record will be out at least by early 2013, barring any disaster.
