We’re practically frothing at the mouth waiting for the new Deftones record to see the light of day. The group’s penchant for both the hauntingly beautiful and the viscerally heavy have always struck a chord with me. Deftones are one of the biggest names in alt-rock and metal, so you’d be hard pressed to find someone interested in this genre of music who hasn’t heard the band, particularly after the near universal acclaim of their latest release, 2010’s Diamond Eyes.

Now we’re staring down the release cycle for the follow up, Koi No Yokan, set for release this November. Details are starting to come in, with Antiquiet reporting the album’s tracklist as follows:

Poltergeist (Roller Derby)
Romantic Dreams
Swerve City
Entomb (Dazzle)
Graphic Nature
Goon Squad
What Happened To You? (Flashback)

‘Tempest’ will be the record’s official first single, and will be released October 9th. However, we’ll be getting a taste of the album much sooner, as ‘Leathers’ will be available starting tomorrow, September 18th, as a free download. Get excited!

Deftones’ Koi No Yokan will be out November 13th. Of course, we’ll remind you tomorrow when the new song goes live!
