Tesseract were seemingly full-speed ahead earlier this year with their third vocalist Elliot Coleman and the new acoustic-inspired EP Perspective as well as the promise of a new album being out by the end of 2012. Then we were left with some unintentional blue balls as things didn’t work out with Coleman, and the band cancelled their scheduled dates. Huge bummer all around, but now things are looking up!

Tesseract have announced that they have a new vocalist and plan on releasing a new single next month. Here’s the update, via the band’s Facebook page:

We have found our new singer. He fits our vision for the stage and studio perfectly. Thank you for your patience over the last few months, but as the new single will attest, we feel it was worth the wait. The new single, entitled ‘Nocturne,’ will be released through Century Media Records on October 12th.

TesseracT will also be performing on the following dates in October:17th – The Haunt – Brighton, UK
19th – Crauford Arms – Milton Keynes, UK
21st – Euroblast – Live Music Hall – Koln, DE
22nd – Le Batofar – Paris, FR
23rd – Merleyn – Nijmegen, NL

Exciting! The band also wrapped up a photo shoot of the new lineup, though the unveiling of the new vocalist won’t be until ‘Nocturne’ drops on October 12th. Hang tight!
