We just can’t take it. Not only is Wintersun’s Time I actually finally coming out, the band have just announced their first ever US tour, making the trek alongside folk metal giants Eluveitie and VARG. My god!

Nowhere near Heavy Blog HQ, unfortunately! But it’s good that Wintersun are coming back to relevancy swinging! Hopefully they’ll make the trip out again when they drop Time II next year. It’s also good that they’re playing on 12/21/12 The good people of Boston can ride out the end of the world while jamming to some folk metal.

Eluveitie’s The Early Years retrospective is out September 25th, and Wintersun’s Time I is out October 22nd on Nuclear Blast Records.
