Somewhere on the crossroads of stoned out sludge and death metal lies the appropriately named Chicago five-piece Encrust. Formerly known as Hunters, Encrust successfully merge southern-tinged groove riffs with bludgeoning brutality in a sound that just feels right. Their debut album, From Birth To Soil, is out September 25th on Density Records, but you don’t have to wait a month for a taste of what Encrust has to offer. We’ve got the premiere of the band’s new track ‘Tapeworms‘ below:

If that wasn’t enough for you, Metalsucks recently premiered the album’s opening track ‘Predatory Skin’. Pre-orders are available at this location. You can catch Encrust on tour through September with Obituary, Broken Hope, Decrepit Birth, and Jungle Rot. Dates are below!
