As Gods Set To Release Debut Crystalline EP Next Month

While they’re a far stretch away from being heavy, around these parts we’ve been known to adore some of the more melodic rock in the vein of Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus, Children of Nova, and Vestascension. In that regard, up-and-coming British rockers As Gods are poised to release their debut EP Crystalline next month, and we’re pleased to be announcing the details and premiering their new teaser, below.

As Gods have toured with the likes of The Safety Fire and Red Seas Fire, as well as having shared the stage with Tesseract and Chimp Spanner. It’s no surprise really; while their progressive and tech metal influences are kept to a present minimum in favor of more straightforward songwriting and a desire for atmosphere and melody, they’re cut from a similar cloth in forward-thinking attitude. Sure, the track ‘Wolves of Siberia’ toys with grooving heavier riffs, but the moody title track ‘Crystalline‘ is a bit more representative of their overall theme of soaring choruses and a restrained, pensive atmosphere. As Gods are a promising band to keep an eye on in the British music scene, for sure.

The tracklist to Crystalline is as follows:

01. Crystalline
02. Faith
03. Puzzle
04. Wolves of Siberia

You’ll be able to hear it for yourself when it drops May 14th. Keep up with As Gods on Facebook for more up-to-date information as it comes in.
