It wasn’t that long ago that I was expressing my excitement for the upcoming Municipal Waste album The Fatal Feast and, lo and behold, Brooklyn Vegan have blessed us with the first offering of new material that will appear on the record – ‘Fatal Feast‘ shows the punky and mid-tempo side of The Waste and creates one hell of a catchy track out of it; there’s bits of D.R.I, Nuclear Assault and even some GWAR influences all jostling for space in this three-minute thrasher. Also, check out that legitimately 80’s sci-fi intro, packed full of Moog analogues!

Maybe The Fatal Feast will our first taste of  The Waste attempting a concept album? Although I won’t be expecting them to go fully prog on us and release a 30 minute track about a black hole, it will be interesting to see what they can come up with. We’ll just have to wait until April 13th to find out.
