Alcest and Deafheaven, two of post-black metal’s best stand-out acts, are about to make a journey across the United States together in what is sure to be an excellent tour filled with blasts, screams, tremolo picking, and delay pedals.

Alcest’s Les Voyages de l’Âme (The Journeys of the Soul) was one of the first worthy releases of the new year, whereas Deafheaven spent the end of last year writing for a potential split release, promising “faster, darker, a lot heavier and far more experimental” music than their April 2011 release Roads To Judah.

03.21.2012 Tampa, FL – Crowbar
