Sometimes I’m beyond pleased by some of the submissions we get from bands wanting our thoughts on their craft. This morning, I received an email from Tacoma, WA’s Czar, a self-proclaimed “postgrind” band, which does make sense in some aspects. They certainly transcend the genre! Their progressive and chaotic blend is just absolutely maddening and unlike anything I’ve ever heard before. Their debut record Old Haunts is absolutely fantastic, which you must check out below.
