This has got to be one of the neatest tours coming up, and it’s a damn shame I won’t get to see it. Cynic are hitting Europe at the end of the year with the British instrumental darlings Chimp Spanner and the French ambient metal band HYPNO5E. Here are the run of dates:

.12.11 The Village, Dublin, Ireland.
.12.11 Limelight, Belfast, UK.
.12.11 The Underworld, London, UK.
.12.11 Trix, Antwerp, Belgium.
.12.11 Baroeg, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
.12.11 Divan Du Monde Paris, France.
.12.11 Kiff, Aarau, Switzerland.
.12.11 Rock’n’Roll Arena, Romagnano Sesia (NOVARA), Italy.
.12.11 Gala Hala, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
.12.11 Arena, Vienna, Austria .
.12.11 Club 202, Budapest, Hungary.
.12.11 Randall, Bratislava, Slovakia.
.12.11 KD Kyje , Prague, Czech Republic.
.12.11 Cassiopeia, Berlin, Germany.
.12.11 Kleine Freiheit, Osnabrück, Germany.
.12.11 Templet, Lyngby, Denmark.
.12.11 Hafenklang, Hamburg, Germany.
.12.11 P60, Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

NEAT. As if I needed another reason I wish I was born European!

Speaking of Chimp Spanner, the new EP is on the horizon for an early 2012 release via Basick Records. It’s currently being mastered! We certainly can’t wait for that, as well as HYPNO5E’s sophomore album, which has been in the works for some time. Some of you might not know of these guys, but their debut album is definitely worth looking into—but then again, so are all three of these bands!

Cynic’s new EP Carbon-Based Anatomy is due out November 11th on Season of Mist. Check out our review of it here.
