The Bled (current line-up?)

November will see the final tour from post-hardcore outfit The Bled, who announced their impending break up recently. These are sad times indeed, but a chance to see the band that brought you the brilliant Pass The Flask one last time – or for the first time if, like me, you’ve never seen ’em. They released the following statement via Facebook:

“It is with a great sense of bittersweetness to post our last US tour. Understand that we are aware that we are not getting to MANY places that have been good to us over the years – time constraints limit us and this is the best we could do in a short amount of time. That being said, we are stoked to headline and share the road with Decoder on our last trip around the block. We hope that you will come out to help us put this band to rest.”

In a recent interview with Stereoboard, founding guitarist Jeremy Talley said:

“There wasn’t really a single thing that triggered the break up. James took some time off from the band to perform a play which kind of had us stranded at home for a few months. We lost a little of our touring momentum and ever since then I started feeling like everyone’s overall drive to write another record and go back out on tour was slowly draining. I felt like it was time to move on and do something new with people who were maybe a little closer to being on the same page as to we wanted out of a band.”

And move on he has; he’s posted a call-out for a new vocalist to work with:

“Hey guys, I’m in the process of putting together a new band and I’m looking for a great vocalist with some diversity in his range. If you don’t live in Tucson but are still interested I must be able to hear something that you’ve sung on. Hit me up on my FB (username- jeremyraytalley) or email me at [email protected] Thanks!”

Tour dates for the final run after the jump. Sadz.
