Russian Circles on record are good, but Russian Circles live are something else, and so the following video of the band performing a brand new track in Bolanzo, Italy is making me a little weak in the knees. good job I’m sitting down, eh?

The track will be released on their forthcoming, as-yet untitled album, which is due out in October sometime on Sargent House. It really is a fantastic track; I like what I think is bassist Brian Cook (formerly of the seminal Botch and These Arms Are Snakes) doing some kooky “woo” thing (yes, that is the technical term) at about a minute in. If the rest of the album is this good, then I really can’t wait.
Catch footage of the excellent “Station” (performed at the same show), as well as a recently announced run of Australian/New Zealand tour dates for September after the jump. Music on the video starts at about 1:50 in.
