Recently reformed British dudes Earthtone9 have released their first new material in about ten years with a video for “Tide of Ambition“, which they’re streaming over at (and which we’ve nicked – sorry guys!). It takes a new outlook on the warehouse video by shifting it coast-ward and setting up in a shipping dock, surrounded by a beauteous rainbow of coloured steel. A new take on the meaning of ‘industrial’ for sure.

And if that doesn’t pique your interest, there’s also a bunch of chicks in short skirts, so…yeah. Just gonna leave that here.

But wait, there’s more!

Not only can you watch them playing the song with instruments and such whilst looking at your computer machine, but you can also downloaderise it onto your MPEG-2 Audio Layer III listening device, if you’re so lucky as to own such a futuristic device. In my day we had wooden spoons and saucepans and we were damn grateful for it! My friend got a kazoo for his birthday, and so he was naturally our leader. Crazy times.

Anyway, I’m waffling. Those of you lucky enough to live in or near Birmingham, Durham, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol or London between May 17th and May 22nd respectively can catch them doing the business live, supported by (trés excité) The Ocean, Maybeshewill and Humanfly!
