It feels strange and uncomfortable not posting under the Helveticore banner so you’ll have to excuse me if I sound nervous. I don’t know if the readers watch as much TV as I do, but I always get really excited when I see anything metal related in the background. You may remember that I posted the image from Party Down when I talked about the OX artwork. Do you guys get pumped when you see something metal related in the background somewhere? Do you feel like you’re part of an exclusive club like I do?

Anyway, today’s metal sighting comes from the show Chuck, which I’m just trying out. In this scene the hot girl spy and Chuck are going into a venue and we get a nice glimpse of some metal posters on the wall. We can see that our friends The Bled make another appearance. I’m starting to think that they’re like Apple and just throw money at shows to be featured prominently. Most exciting though is the little flash of Protest the Hero’s Kezia artwork that can be seen in the top left corner. Also featured on the wall are Canadian punk legends Moneen. I seem to remember hearing somewhere that Chuck is shot in Toronto, which would explain the presences of both Moneen and Protest.

That’s all I wanted to share with you today. Tune in Friday as I continue my scratchy band logo awards. It’s the worst logos of the worst so it’s going to be juicy.
