Mornin’ chums (or afternoon if you’re living on the mediridan – the ONLY way to live)! I promised a good week, and damnit if I haven’t delivered.
Down I Go are a fairly unknown London-based band with a penchant for adding the word ‘core’ to everything – in an ironic sense, as far as I can tell. Record titles have included This Is Disastercore and This is Robotcore.
The tagline from their Myspace hails their most recent album, Tyrant, as – you guessed it – tyrantcore. The album tracks are all named after various folksy leader-type chaps such as Pol-Pot, Joseph Stalin and George W. Bush Jr. (trollolololol).

It’s a stellar album. Check it out if the need takes you.
