News has been slow recently. So slow, that the guys at Metalsucks decided to spice up the day by being nice to everyone on their posts today. So far, they’ve come across as passive-aggressive in moments where they’d normally pass the Haterade like the so many joints that make their way around The Mansion, which is an improvement, I guess? It should be an interesting day for them, especially if Joey Belladonna gets featured.
However, when it comes to the new East Of The Wall song they’re streaming today, it’s all genuine excitement. The progressive post-hardcore rockers’ new song “The Ladder” is pretty rad. I keep forgetting that the band is no longer an instrumental project, which is great if you ask me. I have a hard time staying interested in instrumental music. I don’t know what it is or why, but that’s just how it is with me.
East of the Wall are releasing their album Ressentiment on July 20th. This may be a surprise hit for me. We’ll see how all that plays out though, but if what we’ve heard so far, that might be the case.
