In the upcoming North American Carnage tour, you just might hear Seasons in the Abyss and Rust In Peace in their entirety, LiveLine reports. Older metal fans everywhere are surely going to bust a nut at these shows, but it begs the question: will these albums aged along with Slayer and Megadeth? What with Tom Araya’s recent back surgery and everyone generally about to get over the hill, will these albums suffer as a result? The albums are twenty years older, but so are the guys in Slayer and Megadeth.

And don’t think I’m just being some asshole. I’d love for them to go out there and prove that they still have what it takes, but Tom Araya just standing up there won’t exactly do Seasons in the Abyss due justice. But who knows? I hope they go out there and put on a killer show.
