And oh my God, it is amazing. It’s much more epic than the original, thanks to added layers, reworked riffs, and the addition of new singer Spencer Sotelo. There’s so much going on in this final version. “Light” is a clusterfuck  of melody and mathy djent riffs, in the best possible way. Anyone who says having three guitarists is pointless is completely full of shit.  This just made me so much more excited for the debut album.

I’ve been listening to “Light” on repeat, and I’m still getting chills. This will be an amazing album, that’s for sure.

Periphery’s self-titled debut will rock your face on 4/20 via Sumerian Records.
