What happened, Victory? What happened to signing bands like Within the Ruins, Wretched, and BTBAM (who have since moved)? No, you get this abomination. Why? WHY?!

Sorry if I have ruined your day.  There are sure to be some positive posts coming up today, so cheer the fuck up.  There you go.

So apparently Within the Ruins are making an EP.  I did not know this, and now that I do know this, this is awesome.  Release date TBA, but I’m excited.  It definitely sounds like WTR, which is not a bad thing at all.

Westfield, Massachusetts band Within The Ruins have just uploaded a new song to their MySpace. The song is off their upcoming album Invade, and it’s pretty freaking awesome. Check it out!

Now you can own, in my opinion, the greatest album to come out last year in colored vinyl format. Oh boy!

The clear pink double vinyl of Between The Buried and Me‘s The Great Misdirect is a Victory Records exclusive limited to 200 copies, so if you’re a fan of the band, that’s the one you need to get, and fast. I ordered mine last night. So there’s AT LEAST 199 left, but I can’t be the only one who nabbed one, so get one if they’re still there. They’re the same price as the clear orange double vinyl (around $20), but the orange isn’t as limited, so by extension it isn’t as cool. But it fits the artwork of the album better.

The album is currently on pre-order. They start shipping March 16th.

In similar news, Victory Records is also releasing the newest Manure Emmure and Darkest Hour albums on vinyl. You can find them here, due out on the same day.

Batten down the hatches. Metalcore band Darkest Hour‘s new album The Eternal Return leaked.

Is anyone sick of the pirate jokes yet?

You know the drill. The Eternal Return is comes out June 23rd on Victory Records.

Below, listen to the song “No God” that they gave away for a free and legal taste of the album.

Darkest Hour – No God

Looks like some pretty decent album art. Nothing really spectacular. The songs that I’ve heard from it are good though.

Speaking of Darkest Hour, have you downloaded their new song “No God” yet? You can do that here at HBIH.

Darkest Hour‘s The Eternal Return, comes out June 23 on Victory Records.

EDIT: Today, the tracklist was posted. So instead of wasting time with yet another Darkest Hour post, I’ll just add it here.

I don’t know much about Bury Your Dead, but I do know their new album hit the internets late last night. It’s only a few days until release, but you can download it out there somewhere.

The album comes out May 26th on Victory Records. Below is a YouTube video of their new song “Hurting Not Helping”.

Visit Bury Your Dead on myspace to listen to more new music. Or go download it somewhere. Whichever.

Since Victory Records released the new Darkest Hour song on a free sampler, I’ll go ahead and put it up here for those of you who just want the song and not the whole sampler. It’s not like I’m putting up something you have to pay for, anyway. Does it make it stealing if you take something that’s free in the first place? I doubt it.

So anyway, Darkest Hour’s new song “No God” comes off of their upcoming fifth album, The Eternal Return, which is  due out on June 23. Listen and download below:
