Caspian‘s Waking Season was a great post-rock album. While it may not have made my year end list, it was definitely in my top 3 among post-rock releases. And now they are going to do a North American tour! And to add to the awesomeness that will already ensue, they’re taking Junius and Native on tour along with them. Not so familiar with Native, (but they must be killer), but Junius is a great band, and Reports From The Threshold Of Death was a fantastic record with a mix of doom, post-rock, progressive metal and even some ambient elements all mixed in.
