On December 6th, 2015, the Polaris North American Tour 2015 hit Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, MD with a powerful assault of modern progressive metal. Skyharbor, ERRA, The Contortionist, and TesseracT were all on top of their game despite this being the penultimate stop of the tour.

This time around, I was lucky enough to see Skyharbor’s entire set. The band performed equally as well as they had in Philadelphia on the first night of the tour and guitarist, Keshav Dhar, seemed to enjoy me giving him some attention with my camera. ERRA was up next and put on a great show as usual. Now ex-vocalist, Ian Eubanks, was noticeably drained after several weeks performing on damaged vocal chords but persisted through the pain to give fans the best performance that he could. ERRA was top notch instrumentally but the lighting situation proved very difficult for my photography. The Contortionist put on an astonishing, almost spiritual set. Even though they played the exact same set as the Philadelphia, the music had such a different feel because of the new jam elements added into the songs. TesseracT added some holiday cheer to the show by adding a Christmas tree to their live stage setup. It was great to see TesseracT perform again with the same level of enthusiasm and passion that they had on day one of the tour.

Overall, it was an absolute pleasure to shoot this tour twice. If you ever have the opportunity to see a tour two times during a run, do so. You will not be disappointed.

I hope you enjoy my photos!
