Happy Monday! Hopefully your sportsball teams all fared well and you had a safe Friday The 13th free of bad luck! What’s a more lovely way to welcome a new week other than with a brand spankin’ new exclusive for you guys? Today, we’re happy to host a new single from Aussie experimentalists Instrumental (adj.) from their upcoming EP A Series Of Disagreements. It’s some pretty cool stuff, particularly if you’re into jazz fusion or avant-garde jazz rock. Check it out below!

It’s some very experimental stuff, that’s for sure. It’s like a weird hybrid mixing the super weird stuff from King Crimson with some cool clean guitar stuff along the lines of Chon. While obviously it’s all instrumental stuff, the song itself doesn’t really get boring, and the shifting from one time signature to another and one rhythm to the next works really well in this setting, simply because it’s meant to. It is a part of the band’s sound, and after hearing the whole EP, I can tell you that it works well across the entire duration of the record. The single is available now on the band’s Bandcamp as a free download right now, so there’s no excuse not to listen! The album drops on the 17th of November via Art As Catharsis, so be sure to head here to pick it up!
