On Sunday, July 26th, 2015, Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville, New York hosted the legendary NYHC band the Cro-Mags. The original lineup was supposed to be Demon Racer, Johnny Booth, Shai Hulud (who were on tour with Cryptodira and Ghost Key) and the Cro-Mags. Unfortunately, Shai Hulud dropped off the show without warning. I didn’t get a chance to catch Demon Racer, so there are no pictures of them. Moving on! Johnny Booth kicked off the show and are one of the best Long Island locals for sure. If you like Converge or early 2000s metalcore, they are the band for you. So much raw energy in that band’s music, it’s great. Lastly, the Cro-Mags performed a ~45 minute set, but the show felt like it went by quicker than that. I guess 45 minutes in real time is 20 minutes in punk time. Filling in on bass for the Cro-Mags was Craig Setari of another legendary NYHC band, Sick Of It All. Enjoy the pictures below!
