Poland’s biggest metal export, Behemoth, have always been known for their extravagant and amazing music videos. They’ve been evil, they’ve been epic, and they’ve definitely been offensive. Even though frontman Nergal has been hinting at a long-term hiatus and possibly even breaking up, the band has just released new music video for “Messe Noire,” the third track on The Satanist. Check it out below!

Behemoth has been in a long-term working relationship with the Polish production group, Grupa 13, for some time now, but this is one of the first music videos they have put out with a different team. Directed by Zev Deans who has also worked with visually-intriguing artists like Portal and Chelsea Wolfe, this video was made as a tribute to the late H.R. Giger. It’s not as shocking as, say, their video for “Ov Fire and the Void,” but it’s definitely dark as hell and worth checking out. Nergal exclaims immediately that he believes in Satan. Do you?
