Septicflesh - Promethius

The last time we saw Septicflesh they had just announced the capture of metal drumming demigod Krimh. Now the Greek symphonic death merchants have popped back up on our radar with the release of a twisted and delicious video for ‘Prometheus’, one of my favorite tracks from the mighty Titan. If, like me, you enjoy a touch of the macabre with your metal then this music video will be right up your alley. Be warned though, this ain’t safe for work. It’s probably not advisable to watch this while shoveling greasy sustenance into your face either. Check it after the jump!

The ‘Prometheus’ video premiered, fittingly, over at Bloody Disgusting where their tastes are equally as worrying as some of us here at Heavy Blog. The force feeding of two well dressed elderly folk has never been quite so watchable. The use of soft focus gives the video a really creepy vibe that is truly difficult to shake off. As one of the slower songs on Titan, the extended close ups of gory treats and the lack of any real movement on screen make the video drag out at a torturous pace. If anyone with deipnophobia happens to be a Septicflesh fan, chances are they might not be after sitting through this!
