The internet! It’s magic! Audiotree, a professional studio based in Chicago, is also magic. What those guys do, in case you were unaware, is the complete package for recording artists: great video, great audio and great design. We’ve covered their sessions a few times before, and they’re always brilliant (seriously, click on those links). Now, the gang will be hitting Austin, TX, for the much talked about SXSW festival. Hot damn! A few things that might not be readily apparent: Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) graces that list. CHON will not only be performing on their, but also acting as the band for Thomas Erak (Fall of Troy). Besides these, My Ticket Home are well worth your time and many other acts on this list, even if not strictly metal.
