As Winter is coming to it’s end and Spring rapidly approaches, it’s hard to think of many bands to better accompany this transition than Trees On Mars. Their stellar debut album The Sapling was recorded at Audiohammer Studios with producer Eyal Levi and it should easily appeal to fans of similar instrumental acts such as Scale The Summit. The song ‘Ode To The Vulture’ features a guest solo from Heavy Blog favorite Plini, and the guys have just released a beautiful playthrough video for it. With gorgeous scenery to perfectly match the music and even some aerial shots filmed with a drone, check it out after the jump:
If playthrough videos like this one become the new norm, many bands are going to have to step up their game to keep up with this level of quality. It’s great to see when a group not only puts effort into their music, but into other facets of their product as well like this. It’s also important to note that in the video, the drummer and the bassist are definitely not the same person. Obviously, because their hair is different. If you enjoy what you’ve heard then check out the rest of the record below, and give them some love on facebook too! These guys are off to a great start and we will be sure to keep tabs on them in the future.
